Windy I found the song ("A GOOD MAN") for you and yes it is John through and through. We all loved and will miss him dearly until we all join on the other side.

He was the best father a daughter could ask for. A truely perfect man. I miss him dearly!William (Bill) Gilcrist Jr. Site Creator
He was my best Friend. I remember I use to stay at his house. We built a Patio out back of the house. We would drive over off 224 and Arlington to the sand pit and load the sand then shovel it into the patio. We also put in a water drinking fountain out back. John and his Step Dad were lucky to have each other. I will miss him as I lost touch with him when I left for the service. But he has always been a big part of my heart and life. To know him was truly an honor. But to be a friend of his was truly a life long memory.

Laura said it the best way to describe it, and she looks just like her daddy! John was the kind of person that would give you the shirt off his back, and always put everyone elses happiness first. Before his passing I heard this song (being the country music girl that I am) and it reminds me completely of my brother, but was about a man that wanted to be remembered a certain way in his passing one day. I loved it but just listened to it once in awhile and never forgot it! Then shocked and devasted by my brother's death I ran out and bought it, and when I can't quit forget that he's in a better place, and surely at peace I play it to remind me of the person he was, and it gives me some peace!~ Emerson Drive, "A GOOD MAN" If you have a moment please listen to this song and you'll see just the person he was to his family, wife, children, and friends!~ It's been 3 years on the 27th of this month, and I still very much miss you and think of you daily. Life is about changes, some we just have to cope with like it or not! I LOVE YOU JOHN AND ALWAYS WILL!~Your baby sister,
~Wendy~
