TALLMADGE -- Thomas E. Tisch, 74, passed away November 27, 2011.

Born in Akron, Mr. Tisch lived his life in the area. He retired in 1998 from Giant Eagle with 42 years of service and was a member of Faith Bible Fellowship. Tom was an avid bowler and loved baseball. He was definitely a Cleveland Indians fan, and he loved to sing.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nelda M.; sons, Gregory (Barb) Tisch and Jon (Cassandra) Tisch, both of Akron; grandson, Daniel J. Tisch; brothers, Donald (Sylvia) Tisch and Fred (Lynda) Tisch, both of Cuyahoga Falls.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 2, 2011 at Faith Bible Fellowship, 126 W. Overdale Dr., Tallmadge, with Pastor Les Sutherland officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of other remembrances, memorial donations may be made to Faith Bible Fellowship, 126 W. Overdale Dr., Tallmadge 44278.
