 The following is a list of Volunteers that will be helping the 23rd of July at North High passing out items at the tables. If you would like to volunteer please contact one of the administrators.

We are going to meet July 23-26, 2010 in Akron, Ohio.
Kathy Murphy (Luthe ADMIN)  will be working on organizing events along with Sheila Martin (Walker ADMIN) and Teresa Paonessa (ADMIN).
 
Bill Gilcrist Jr, along with Brian Hamilton (ADMIN) will do the advertising and setting up of food.
 
Susan Knapp (Spangler ADMIN) will arrange the Viking room for the 26th Breakfast and tours of the school 9 am to 11 am.
 
Linda Carlson (Aulino ADMIN) will be the secretary working on typing, name tags and programs.

Friday, July 23, 2010 10:00am – 4:00pm: pick up name tags, tickets and t-shirts at North High School.
 
We need volunteers to help work at the tables, passing out the items.
 
 
Friday, July 23, 2010 5:00pm – 11:00pm

Cuyahoga Falls
Use of the pavilion is at no charge to us. NO BYOB. 
Food and beverages for individual purchase available from the vendors.

Hotels: I am still getting information and working on the best deals. Here is what I have so far:

Across from River Front - Cost is $129.00 for 2-room suite.
All of the River Front Sheraton rooms are suites, which is 2 rooms, LR (with sleeper sofa),  bedroom and 1 bath.  You can get 1 king or 2 doubles.  
Suite will sleep up to 6 adults or 2 adults with up to 4 children.  
4 adults cost would be $129.00 (2 adults) + $15.00 each additional adult = $148.35 (this includes hotel tax at 15 %).   4 adults, per person cost would be $37.09 per night.  6 adults cost would be $24.73 per night.  2 couples cost would be $74.18 per night.

 I'll update you as I get updated and we lock in rates with contracts. The blocks of rooms will be held up until 1 month (June 22, 2010) for the reunion July 23, 2010.

Food to be catered – barbeque style
Discussion of having Stark County Fairgrounds pavilion as the location for the barbeque festivities.  Pavilion rental $1,650.00.  Kathy Murphy Luthe and Bill Gilcrist to inquire about securing Stark County Fairgrounds pavilion. 
Bill Gilcrist, Jr., and  Brian Hamilton to take care of  securing the caterer.

The existing Exhibition Hall was built in 1922 by the Stark County Automobile Dealers Association (32,000 square foot building) to exhibit the newest cars of the year. During World War II, the building was turned into a factory to make the molding for torpedo warheads. After the war, the hall was remodeled into 
a roller rink where skaters enjoyed themselves into the mid-1970s.

Meet at the Cathedral Banquet Hall  2690 State Road Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223                        
 

(Radisson banquet room was expensive and Sheraton banquet room was very very expensive--like $16,000. 

At Cathedral Banquet we will pay as we arrive. They are allowing us to arrive at 11 am instead of 12 noon (when the doors normally open) so we can get the two back rooms to ourselves.
Prices for dinner for 2009, prices may change.

Reunion Post-conference, Tour NHS.  North High Store will also be open.
Meal is pending. NHS turns off the refrigerator and freezer in May. Check back and see what else we might be able to do.
